Querceto di Castellina is the result of the entrepreneurial spirit and passion for food, wine and hospitality of the Di Battista family. The story of Querceto is not one without its challenges along the way, but has always been one rooted in dedication and a love of creating memorable experiences. Whether you’re seeking a food and wine getaway in one of the oldest wine regions in the world, a rejuvenating vacation in the countryside or joyful moments and experiences characterized by Tuscan charm, Querceto di Castellina is the ideal setting. As a guest of Querceto you can take a dip in our saltwater pool, explore the estate gardens, admire the views from our terrace, as well sip and savor with a complimentary wine tasting. We are a proud organic estate with 11,5 hectares (28 acres) of vines, 11,00 registered under the Chianti Classico DOCG. Year after year, our goal is to craft naturally elegant wines without chemical treatment and as little disruption as possible to our natural surroundings. At Querceto, we wholeheartedly believe great wine is made in the vineyard. It’s the reason we restructured our vineyards back in 1997 based on a study of the grape varieties on the estate to determine those best able to express our terroir. It’s also why we use organic techniques for managing the vines.
